Full house star Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit faces divorce hurdles
The actor known for playing Nicky in the series "Full House" and its continuation "Fuller House," Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit, did not have a skyrocketing career. People are reminded of the actor as he divorces his wife.
Blake's wife, Hye Rim Choi, filed for divorce citing "irreconcilable differences," according to TMZ. The couple got married in July 2019, but Choi did not provide a date of separation, leaving the exact moment of their split unclear. The marriage did not produce any children.
He was a child star
Blake, along with his twin brother Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit, played the roles of twins Nicky and Alex Katsopolis in "Full House" for 70 episodes from 1992 to 1995. Previously, these characters were played by Daniel and Kevin Renteria in 12 episodes between 1991 and 1992. The twins were the children of Jesse and Becky Katsopolis, portrayed by John Stamos and Lori Loughlin.
In 2015, Lori Loughlin, in an interview with "Glamour" magazine, talked about reuniting with the twins on the "Fuller House" set: "I knew what they looked like because I found them on Twitter, and we started following each other and communicating a little bit through that. I knew what they looked like grown-up, but it was really nice to see them! It's more of the nostalgia [that] it's really them, and they're doing a great job. They're really funny!"
Currently, Blake Tuomy-Wilhoit continues working in the entertainment industry but behind the scenes. According to IMDb, over the past six years, he has worked as a sound editor on projects such as the game "World of Warcraft: Dragonflight" and movies like "Home Team" (2022), "My Fiona" (2021), "Emperor" (2020), "The Blackout" (2019), and "Beyond White Space" (2018). He also held this role in series like "FBI" and "Castle Rock."
Blake is not interested in fame. He has an Instagram account where he occasionally posts old photos with his twin brother or snapshots from the series. In January 2022, he commented on Bob Saget's death, whom he met as a child on the set. "I'm speechless. We kept running into each other unexpectedly, always followed by some sarcasm or a silly joke... You never know when you will see someone for the last time. @bobsaget, you'll be missed dearly by me and by the world. Rest In Peace Uncle Tanner," he wrote.
