Witnesses reported that shots were heard near the embassy, and the area was surrounded by police. Police vehicles and ambulances were seen arriving quickly at the scene.

The area around the Israeli Embassy is located in the Rabia district, which has often seen anti-Israel protests due to the conflict in the Gaza Strip. It's worth noting that a significant portion of Jordan's 12 million residents have Palestinian roots.

Situation "under control"

The Times of Israel portal reported that the situation around the Israeli diplomatic mission in Amman has been brought under control, as confirmed by reports from Saudi television Al Arabiya.

Emergency service vehicles have left the scene, indicating that the situation has calmed down.
