The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Aragczi declared on Thursday that responsibility for any potential Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear installations will fall on the United States. He also warned that Tehran will take "special actions" to defend its nuclear facilities.

On Tuesday, CNN reported that according to American intelligence, Israel is preparing to strike Iranian nuclear facilities. The Israeli government did not comment on this information.

In recent days, Iran has been critical of the United States’ stance, which reiterated the demand that the Iranian nuclear program be subject to a total ban on uranium enrichment.

The US argues that, with this capability, Iran will continue to work on nuclear weapons. The authorities in Tehran assure that the Iranian nuclear program is purely peaceful in nature.

The fifth round of Iranian-American negotiations on Iran's nuclear program is scheduled to take place on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Eastern Time in Rome.
