Jennifer Lopez reflects on 2024, but Affleck doesn't make the cut

A grand premiere for Netflix, family moments, red carpets, and music videos. Jennifer Lopez had much to reflect on in her 2024 recap. She just forgot about her ex-husband.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck had one of the most tumultuous relationships in Hollywood. They first tried their luck in the early 2000s, but it failed. Years later, their paths crossed again, resulting in their wedding in July 2022. However, the wedding euphoria quickly faded, becoming a crisis at the start of 2024. Divorce papers indicated that they had been officially separated since April.

Lopez seems not to want to remember Ben

Jennifer Lopez posted an Instagram video summarizing her most important moments of 2024. However, the video did not include her husband, Ben Affleck, with whom she is divorcing. The "2024" video featured clips from her live performances, film premieres, and events like the Met Gala.

The recap also included personal moments of Lopez, including scenes from her documentary "This Is Me… Now: A Love Story," inspired by her relationship with Affleck. Yet, Affleck himself did not appear in the video.

In her video, Lopez highlighted that despite her difficulties last year, she is proud of how she handled them. She also added, "the best is yet to come."

The video also included shots from Lopez's family life, including with her 16-year-old twins, Max and Emme, and her 55th birthday in a Bridgerton style. The material also featured snippets from her European trip and Kamala Harris's rally appearances. You can see this video below.

While Lopez spent the holidays with her family in Aspen, Affleck celebrated with Garner and their children. Media comments suggest that Affleck spent time with his ex-wife because of their shared children. Despite the divorce, the couple has remained on friendly terms for years. Let us recall that the stars started dating in 2004. They met earlier on the set of "Pearl Harbour" and "Daredevil." They got married in June 2005 during a private ceremony on the Turks and Caicos Islands. They have three children: Violet Anne Affleck (born in 2005), Fina Affleck, and Samuel Garner Affleck. The couple divorced in 2015, but they did not cut ties. Garner supported her ex-husband through his struggles with alcohol and pornography addiction.
