How is Pakistan responding to India's actions?

Earlier, the Indian government announced that the death toll from Pakistani shelling on Indian territory in Kashmir has risen from 15 to 16, including women, children, and one soldier. Fifty-nine people were injured.

The Pakistani military reported that 31 civilians, including women and children, were killed, and 57 people were injured due to Indian airstrikes.

Pakistan's Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, stated that the Pakistani military destroyed Indian military installations at the border and shot down 50 drones, including 25 of Israeli production.

The escalation of the conflict in Kashmir results from a terrorist attack on April 22, in which 26 tourists were killed.

India accused the Pakistani group Lashkar-i-Toiba of carrying out the attack, which Islamabad denied. Direct military attacks began overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, and the situation in the region remains tense.
