Social media erupted, and the Lesotho government representative could not hide his surprise and outrage.

The country's foreign minister, Lejone Mpotjoane, considered these words offensive and invited Trump to visit Lesotho, which he described as a "significant and unique nation."

Response to aid suspension

Referring to the Trump administration's suspension of foreign aid, the minister stated that his country's healthcare system had been dependent on this aid for some time, but Trump has the right to make such a decision.

He acknowledged the need to accept the situation but remarked that this characterization of his country was unfortunate.
