No‑bake delight: Effortless desserts for the may long weekend
The May long weekend can be a busy time for culinary activities. Friends might drop by, there are family gatherings, and we'd all like to relax with a coffee and something sweet. In such cases, a quick no-bake cake is perfect.
No-bake cake? It's simply a synonym for a quick dessert. It's ideal for the May long weekend when we don't have the time for lengthy preparations. Something sweet after a barbecue or family lunch is always welcome. This simple cake isn't just quick to make; its taste is downright addictive.
How to quickly prepare a dessert for guests?
A layer of graham crackers topped with delicious cream and caramel sounds delightful, and it requires minimal preparation. Graham crackers replace sponge cake, and the caramel is ready to use. You only need to prepare the cream and layer the cake. Its layers are so well-composed that you'll likely find it hard to stop at just one piece. We recommend preparing it in a larger pan so it lasts the entire weekend. The cake can be refrigerated for several days.
How to whip cream?
This dessert is based on a whipped cream-based filling. You'll need heavy cream, which must be well-chilled before you start whipping. It's important to use a metal or glass bowl, as plastic containers can affect the quality of the whipping.
When whipping cream, gradually increase the speed of the mixer to ensure even air incorporation and prevent curdling. Add powdered sugar and mascarpone at the end when the cream starts to thicken.
