Ongoing conflict in Ukraine sees rise in civilian casualties

Despite Donald Trump's grand announcements about ending the war, bloody battles continue between Russia and Ukraine. Russian military personnel shared footage from the Belgorod region showing burned-out cars. This is the so-called "road of death." Moments later, the creators of the recording were killed by a Ukrainian missile.

An intense exchange of fire between Russia and Ukraine is ongoing. The Russian army has targeted civilian targets. In recent weeks, there have been attacks on Kryvyi Rih (at least 20 civilian fatalities) and Sumy (at least 117 civilian fatalities). In each shelling, hundreds of Ukrainians have been injured.

The Ukrainian army, in turn, is shelling military targets and soldiers. Many Russian military personnel died on the so-called "road of death" in the Belgorod region. Footage of this road was shown by Russians travelling it.

On the video shared on social media, you can see wrecks of burned-out military vehicles lying in roadside ditches and fields. The number of cars is enormous. The wrecks are practically on every corner and along straight sections of the road. The scenes resemble sci-fi war movies.

It turns out that in recent days, the number of burned-out vehicles on the road has increased. This information comes from Anton Herashchenko, who quotes a Russian soldier filming the "road of death."

A Russian soldier showed a "road of death" in Russia's Belgorod region. According to him, the number of burned vehicles on this road doubled in just one day. The car he was driving also burned down, wrote a Ukrainian war blogger and former Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

Herashchenko only posted a fragment of the footage of the Russians' journey. It turns out that moments later, the vehicle in which the soldiers were travelling was also hit and burned. The military personnel inside were killed on the spot.
