  • Six people died in a helicopter crash that occurred on Thursday, plummeting into the Hudson River near Lower Manhattan in New York City - announced New York Mayor Eric Adams. On board was a five-member tourist family from Spain - two adults and three children, along with the pilot.
  • Prince Harry paid an unannounced visit on Thursday to a medical centre in Lviv, where he met with injured soldiers and civilians. For security reasons, the prince's trip was only announced after it had concluded - reported the AP agency. Harry was accompanied by representatives of the Invictus Games Foundation he founded, which enables veterans to participate in sports competitions modelled after the Paralympic Games.
  • Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder lost another court case on Thursday regarding the retention of his office in the Bundestag. Judges of the Federal Administrative Court dismissed his lawsuit in the third instance.
