Plane crash. it looked dangerous, but everyone came out unscathed
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has launched an investigation. It is believed that the cause of the crash was an engine failure.
The Piper PA-31 propeller plane with only the pilot on board crashed near a highway overpass in Victoria, approximately 240 kilometres southwest of Houston. The aircraft broke into two pieces.
A piece of the wreckage rested on one of the cars that were on that stretch of road at the time the plane fell to the ground. Three vehicles were damaged. The moment of the accident was accidentally recorded on video.
Eline Moya, Deputy Chief of Police for the state of Victoria, reported that three people sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and one person was taken to the hospital for evaluation. The pilot was also examined.
"This is not something we see every day. We are glad that people are doing well and are being taken care of by medical services," said Moya.
