Prince William seeks independence with a new legal team choice
According to the Daily Mail, Prince William has decided to change lawyers. He has started working with a law firm that represented Princess Diana in her divorce from Charles III in 1996. This has fueled rumours that the heir to the throne is experiencing a marital crisis with Kate Middleton.
Prince William switched to the law firm Mishcon de Reya. The lawyers there were involved in his mother's divorce settlements. The reasons for this sudden decision are unknown, but initial speculations exist.
The British Daily Mail reports that this move is meant to allow the aristocrat greater freedom of action and to break free from dependency on King Charles III. However, it was emphasized that these are merely unofficial considerations.
William wanted to act on his own. He no longer wanted to use his father's lawyers. It's that simple. He wants to be independent, an expert convinces.
So far, the royal family has been using the services of the law firm Harbottle & Lewis. The 42-year-old has deviated from this norm, which observers see as the beginning of building a stronger position within the family, yet bolder rumours have also surfaced.
Internet users consider that Prince William and Kate Middleton may have marital problems, and even separation might be in the cards. This would explain why the future king chose this firm, which had already specialized in divorces for three decades.
Representatives of the couple strongly deny this. Meanwhile, supporters of the couple point out that they participate in public events, share a deep affection for each other, and have no intention of causing unpleasant experiences for their children. There is therefore little to suggest that the speculation about a crisis is accurate.
Princess Diana was satisfied with the divorce lawyers
Princess Diana and Prince Charles divorced in July 1996. It was preceded by lengthy mediation, and lawyers on each side wanted to claim the final success. When the negotiations finally concluded, the People's Princess was satisfied.
Immediately after announcing the divorce, she went to the theatre to watch Swan Lake. She smiled for photographers and, after the performance, had dinner with Derek Deane, the artistic director of the venue.
She appeared as though an immense burden had been lifted, giving her a sense of renewal, free from suffering and sorrow. It was evident that these experiences had made her stronger. She believed she had a future ahead of her — at least, that was her conviction, as reported by The Sun.
