The gaming industry is evolving, with the ways games are played, the model of gameplay, and the process of creating games all undergoing changes. Within this context, artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming a topic of discussion. Razer is aligning with this trend by introducing new AI tools for game developers. The new solutions—Razer Game Assistant and Razer QA Companion—are components of the WYVRN ecosystem, an innovative AI-driven gaming system developed by Razer to accelerate and revolutionize the game creation process.

Razer Game Assistant

First introduced as Project AVA at CES 2025, the Razer Game Assistant uses advanced artificial intelligence to provide expert advice in real time, personalized tips, post-game analysis, and insights into hardware performance.

Capable of learning from data specific to game genres and allowing direct integration with gameplay, this tool enhances the player experience and opens a new chapter in interactive AI-supported gaming.

Razer QA Companion

This AI-based tool is centred on the quality assurance (QA) process in game testing. Acting as an intelligent assistant, it automatically detects and logs bugs, crashes, and performance issues. With seamless integration into QA teams, it increases the efficiency of bug detection, shortens development cycles, and enhances the overall quality of games.

Available as a plugin for Unreal, Unity, and custom C++ engines, QA Companion fits easily into existing workflows. Ready-made templates tailored to various game genres reduce the need for manual script writing, facilitating faster QA setup.

To further enhance QA Companion's capabilities, Razer has partnered with the global gaming services provider Side to jointly develop advanced automated QA testing tools, leveraging Side’s expertise in quality assurance services offered worldwide. This collaboration aims to explore new quality control automation methods, boosting efficiency and reducing time-to-market for both developers and end users.

Scaling with AWS

Following a successful debut at the Game Developers Conference 2025, the Razer AI Game Developer Tools are currently in the beta testing phase, both in AAA studios and among independent developers. Part of its vision for the future of AI gaming involves Razer expanding access to these tools using AWS's secure infrastructure, ensuring global scalability while enabling developers to streamline workflows, increase productivity, and accelerate development cycles.
