Russian claims on Kryvyi Rih missile attack debunked
The Russians are trying to avoid responsibility for the attack on Kryvyi Rih. The Russian Ambassador to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, claimed that as a result of the bombing, "85 Ukrainian soldiers and foreign officers died." Evidence shows that the politician's words are untrue. Only civilians died during the attack.
On April 4th, a Russian Iskander-M ballistic missile landed on Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the bombing, at least 20 people lost their lives. Among the victims are nine children and eleven adults. All were civilians.
Footage of the attack on Volodymyr Zelensky's hometown has appeared online. Among other things, they show the moment of impact on a local restaurant. The strike on Kryvyi Rih is the most tragic attack on civilians since the beginning of this year and one of the largest since the start of the war.
Russia does not want to admit that it carried out a criminal attack on civilians. The Russian Ambassador to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, lied during a Security Council meeting, saying that the target of the Russian army's strike was Ukrainian military personnel and foreign agents. He also provided false data regarding the casualties.
The target of the attack on Kryvyi Rih on April 4th was a restaurant where enemy soldiers and foreign officers were present. By decision of the Russian Defence Minister, a precision bomb attack was carried out, in which a total of 85 soldiers from Ukraine and foreign countries (including NATO), who were providing operational advice and instructions, were killed - Vasily Nebenzya said without a trace of embarrassment.
According to the Russian ambassador, the presence of foreign intelligence and Ukrainian officers at the location was a justification for the bomb attack. At the same time, Nebenzya did not mention civilian casualties, including children.
