Russians showcased their "new" equipment: a motorcycle that's over 50 years old. This vehicle was received by soldiers from the 137th Airborne Regiment of the Russian army, often referred to as the "second army of the world." In the video available online, it's clear that the servicemen are unable to start the old motorcycle.

Russians fighting in infantry units have repeatedly demonstrated that they do not have the most modern equipment available. This time, a video has surfaced online showing soldiers of Putin's army (known as the "second army of the world") presenting the combat vehicle they've been given.

The 137th Airborne Regiment of the Russian army received a motorcycle dating back to 1965-1970. It's a Ural brand motorcycle, model 1965. The Soviet vehicle looks like it belongs in a museum or at vintage motor enthusiast rallies. Nonetheless, according to Russian commanders, it is intended to be sent to the front lines.

In the online video, it's evident how Russians are attempting to start the vehicle. Starting the old motorcycle requires the involvement of several people and a good deal of patience. The motorcycle likely had not been started for many years, making it difficult for the Russians to get it operational.

According to Anton Herashchenko, a Ukrainian war blogger and former Deputy Minister of the Interior of Ukraine, providing such old and impractical equipment at the front suggests that Russia is running low on modern technological solutions in the military.

Due to the lack of modern equipment, Russians will increase the number of so-called "meat attacks." They will be forced to participate in combat missions with very little chance of survival. Putin doesn't care about this at all, stated Herashchenko in a post showing the video with the motorcycle.
