Russian propaganda escalates: Threats to iconic landmarks aired

A leading Russian propagandist became enraged on air on Russia-1. Vladimir Solovyov started threatening that Russia could turn the Élysée Palace, the Reichstag, or Tower Bridge "into ruins." "They must realize that nothing will be left for them," shouted one of Vladimir Putin's favourite "journalists."

Many of the reports shared by Russian media and government representatives are likely not true. Such reports may be part of the information warfare by the Russian Federation.

Vladimir Solovyov has been known for years for spreading scandalous, anti-Ukrainian, and anti-European content. However, one of the Kremlin's top propagandists and a Russia-1 employee has outdone himself.

During a discussion on Russian military doctrine and the approach to NATO, propagandists talked about "how to scare Europe and Ukraine." The Russians "expressed outrage" that people on Bankova Street in Kyiv (a central street in Ukraine's capital) "are still kissing and hugging."

Guests invited to Russia-1 concluded that Russia should bomb this section of Kyiv to scare Europe. This triggered Solovyov’s fury. The propagandist flew into a rage and started shouting that the Russians "should not fear Europe."

There’s no need to hit Bankova. Why are you constantly afraid of Europe? They don’t care about Bankova. They will start caring when they see the ruins of the Reichstag. They will start worrying when the Élysée Palace is blown up. Those bastards threaten Moscow, St. Petersburg, Belgorod, Kursk. They are discussing how to destroy the Crimean Bridge. They must realize that, in such a case, nothing will be left for them. Let’s blow up Tower Bridge. We’ll rebuild it in Disneyland to take souvenir photos - Solovyov shouted in a fury.

The remaining participants in the program silently listened to the propagandist's tirade, who added at the end that "Europe doesn’t care about Bankova, only about itself."
