Russian propaganda twists truth as woman denounces Ukrainian aid

Scandalous words from a Russian woman to whom Ukrainian soldiers brought humanitarian aid. In a conversation with Russian propagandist media, the woman falsely claimed that Ukrainian soldiers were killing residents of her village. The Russian woman lives in a Ukrainian-controlled area of the Kursk region.

Russian politicians and propagandists have accustomed us to lies. It seems that civilians living in Russia also do not shy away from concealing or completely distorting facts, although it cannot be ruled out that they do so under duress. Ukrainian soldiers, who delivered humanitarian aid to a woman living in the Kursk region, learned this firsthand.

A video has appeared online comparing the words of an older Russian woman in Ukrainian and Russian media. In the video, you can first see the woman thanking Ukrainians. She also points out that the provisions will surely delight the children. The older Russian woman is smiling and appears at ease while speaking with the Ukrainian soldiers.

The woman presents a completely different narrative in the recording prepared by Russian propagandists. The Russian woman says that Ukrainians allegedly committed murders. She claims that Russians fighting against Ukraine and killing their soldiers should be rewarded.

I don't know why they are doing this, why they murder. Maybe they are fascinated by it. They are not human. They probably have a mission to kill everyone living in our territory. They will stop when they have murdered everyone, the Russian woman said. She also accused Ukrainians of murdering children.

However, it is unclear if she was forced—under threat of repression or death—by the propaganda apparatus to present such a version.

Earlier, when visited by Ukrainian soldiers, the woman stated that she received diapers, chemical products, and food from Ukrainians.
