Here’s a recipe for beef Stroganoff with harissa that will impress your guests:

Ingredients:

                            
  • 0.8 kg of beef (e.g., tenderloin or ribeye),
  • 1 onion,
  • 1 red bell pepper,
  • 1 yellow bell pepper,
  • 280 grams of mushrooms,
  • 4 pickles,
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil,
  • 1 teaspoon of ground sweet paprika,
  • 1 tablespoon of smoked paprika,
  • 1 teaspoon of harissa spice,
  • 1-2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour,
  • 1 teaspoon of herbal pepper,
  • Sea salt and black pepper to taste.

Preparation:

                
  1. Cut the beef into cubes, mix with olive oil, harissa, and sweet paprika, and let it sit in the refrigerator overnight.
  2. Coat the meat in flour and brown it in heated oil. Transfer to a pot, add water, and simmer for 30 minutes.
  3. Chop the onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms, then sauté in oil. Add to the meat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. Add the seasonings and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Cut the pickles and add to the dish. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Serve with bread.
