Storm Bora hit Greece on Saturday and was responsible for the death of a man on the island of Limnos. The 57-year-old farmer was swept away by water as he tried to pull his car out of the mud.

A 70-year-old man was also found dead in a flooded house on the island of Limnos; however, the cause of his death remains unknown. Heavy rains have caused significant damage, flooding homes and destroying road and power infrastructure.

Authorities in the Attica region, which includes Athens, warned residents against traveling until Sunday morning. Similar warnings have been issued for the islands of Limnos, Rhodes, and the regions of Central Macedonia and Thessaly.

Storm Bora has brought heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds. These dangerous weather conditions are expected to continue until 2:00 PM Eastern Time on Sunday.
