The congresswoman represented the state of New York in the House of Representatives. At the time of her election, she was 30 years old. In the following years, she became involved in activities within the Republican Party, focusing on raising funds for her party.

Later - during Trump's first term (2017-2021) - Stefanik became part of the president's close circle of advisors.

In 2019, when impeachment proceedings against Trump were initiated, Stefanik strongly supported Trump.

Elise Stefanik was born on July 2, 1984, in Albany, New York. She has Polish and Dutch roots. She attended Harvard University and earned a degree in government administration.

In recent months, during student protests, she called for the immediate removal of the president of Columbia University. This occurred after protesters took over a university building and blocked police access. At the same time, they demanded that the university divest from Israel in response to the Israeli military intervention in the Gaza Strip.

During Trump's first term, the position of U.S. Ambassador to the UN was held by Nikki Haley.
