Trump's four-year window: Russian propaganda and European tensions
Vladimir Solovyov, a well-known Russian propagandist, claims that Donald Trump gave Russia four years to prepare for an inevitable war with Europe. Political scientist Dmitry Drobnitsky echoes his words, believing that Russia will achieve its goals if someone similar to J.D. Vance wins the next presidential election in the United States.
Many pieces of information provided by Russian media or government representatives are elements of propaganda. Such reports are part of the information war conducted by the Russian Federation.
Vladimir Solovyov, one of the leading Russian propagandists, discussed the topic of Russian-American relations and their impact on Europe in his television program. Solovyov stated that Donald Trump, the President of the United States, gave Russia four years to prepare for an inevitable war with Europe.
Brutal conversation among Russian propagandists. "Trump gave us four years"
Solovyov emphasized that Europe aims to be ready for conflict with Russia by 2029. According to him, European military ambitions are part of a plan to attack Russia. “We need to realize that Trump has now given us four years to prepare for what is already inevitable – a great European war,” said Solovyov on his propaganda broadcast.
He added that Russians should wisely use this time, not counting on long-term agreements. “Europe has set itself the goal to be ready for war with Russia by 2029. And that is precisely what they are aiming for,” he continued his deceitful statement, repeating Kremlin propaganda.
It was Vladimir Putin who, by launching an attack on Ukraine in February 2022, justified the aggression with an alleged threat from NATO. For over three years, Russian propaganda has repeated this narrative, even though Kyiv did not attack Moscow. It is the Kremlin that intensifies its actions and has geared the economy towards wartime operations, while most European NATO countries spend a smaller percentage of GDP on armaments. Russian propaganda, however, does not mention this.
Russia and the future of Europe
Vladimir Solovyov argued that Donald Trump does not care about Europe's future, which gives Russia a chance to achieve its goals. “Russia will return to Berlin, and the inhabitants of the Baltic countries will have to learn to love the Russian language again,” he threatened.
Russian political scientist Dmitry Drobnitsky responded to Solovyov's words, stating that achieving Russia's territorial goals is possible, but only if someone like J.D. Vance wins the 2028 U.S. elections. “Everything you're talking about is possible, but only if J.D. Vance or someone like him wins the election in 2028,” Drobnitsky said.
