Trump's marital rift: White House disputes separation claims
Donald Trump's biographer claims that the U.S. president and his wife are going through tough times in their marriage. The couple is said to be living apart, according to a comment from the White House.
Donald Trump began a new chapter in his life in 2005 when he married Melania. Their relationship has attracted a significant amount of media attention from the very start. The model is noted for her good sense of style and takes care of her husband's image. Although she occasionally appears publicly alongside the U.S. president, she usually keeps him at a distance.
There have been rumours in the media for a while about the Trumps' marriage. It is said that their relationship is mainly transactional and focused on building the image of a conservative couple, lacking in emotions. The president's biographer commented on their situation.
The White House responds to rumours of Trump's marital crisis
Recently, Donald Trump's biographer had the opportunity to appear on The Daily Beast podcast. Michael Wolff made a bold statement that the U.S. president and his wife have been living apart for some time.
"They clearly do not in any way inhabit a marriage as we define marriage. And I think maybe we can more specifically say they live separate lives. They are separated. The president of the United States and the first lady are separated," Michael Wolff boldly stated on The Daily Beast podcast.
The White House Communications Director, Steven Cheung, denied these rumours in a conversation with "The Independent." Cheung called Wolff "a blithering idiot" and claimed he has been "widely discredited due to his blatant lies and fabrications."
