Ukraine defends skies: 100 drones downed in overnight assault
The Ukrainian Air Force reported the downing of 100 out of 179 drones that Russia used to attack Ukraine overnight from Friday to Saturday.

The downing of 100 drones, including Shahed and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles, occurred in the southern, northern, and central regions of Ukraine. Additionally, 63 drones were neutralized using electronic warfare measures. The attack led to damage in the infrastructure of the Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Kyiv regions.
Russian forces deployed 179 Shahed strike drones along with various types of decoy drones. This attack is another example of the escalation of military activities in Ukraine. The Ukrainian Air Force stresses that their defensive measures are vital for protecting the country from further devastation.
