Ukrainian drone strike halts key operations at Moscow refinery
The Moscow oil refinery was seriously damaged in an attack by Ukrainian drones, according to a statement on Thursday by Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev, cited by Reuters.
- There is no tragedy from the perspective of the residents, consumers. It is more of a problem for us because everything needs to be rebuilt – said Russian Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev.
However, Reuters reported on Monday, citing three sources, that the Moscow refinery halted Euro+ oil processing due to the fire.
This oil accounts for approximately half of the refinery's output. Sources claimed that the repair will take 5-6 days.
