Ukrainian drones ignite major fire at Russian oil terminal
Ukrainian forces attacked a fuel depot in Russia using drones. The General Staff reported that one of the largest oil terminals in the outskirts of Orel was set ablaze.
Ukrainian drones attacked a fuel depot in the Russian Oryol region, igniting a fire – reported the region's governor, Andrey Klychkov, overnight. The information was confirmed a few hours later by the General Staff of Ukraine.
"On the night of December 13, 2024, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine targeted the 'Steel Horse' dispatch station in the Oryol region of Russia," stated the communiqué.
According to the Ukrainians, it is one of the largest oil terminals in the outskirts of Orel.

A significant fire erupted following the drone strike. Local residents reported hearing explosions and seeing visible pillars of fire overnight, shortly after the attack.
Videos were shared on social media platforms. "Flames visible over the city," described one of the videos.
The Production and Dispatch Station "Steel Horse" is part of the Russian military-industrial complex, supplying oil products to the Russian army.
