The Astra channel has obtained details of the attack on the Russian freight train targeted in the Fedorivka area in the Melitopol region of Ukraine. Ukrainian intelligence drones attacked in three locations.

The Ukrainian Military Intelligence (GUR) published a video showing a drone attack on the freight train and an explosion of one of the cars. The operation took place on the occupied section of the railway line between the towns of Verkhnii Tokmak, Molochansk, and Fedorivka.

Train attacked by three drones

ASTRA sources confirm that the attack took place during the night of May 23 to 24 near the Fedorivka station. The train was travelling from Volnovakha to Dzhankoi in Crimea. It was attacked by three drones.

One of the drones hit a tanker with diesel fuel, which exploded and caught fire. The second one struck a freight car, and the third hit the railway track. No one was injured in the attack.

Ukraine: Attacks will continue

The attack disrupted the operation of Russian rail supply on the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Crimea.

The Ukrainian side emphasizes that actions targeting the military logistics of the aggressor will continue.
