Both characters are students at Shiz University in the fantastical Land of Oz and develop a deep friendship. However, after meeting the Wizard of Oz, their friendship will stand at a crossroads, and their lives will take completely different paths.
Glinda desires popularity and dreams of power, while Elphaba remains true to herself and those around her. Her attitude will have unexpected consequences for her future.
