The head of the Zaporizhzhia regional authorities, Ivan Fedorov, reported on Thursday night that the drone attack injured fourteen individuals in the city of Zaporizhzhia, situated in southeastern Ukraine. Earlier reports of a fatality were not verified.

Fedorov stated that "Russians carried out at least 10 strikes on Zaporizhzhia. They attacked private houses, tall residential buildings, educational institutions, and infrastructural facilities." The attack occurred on Thursday evening, with its repercussions felt throughout the city.

Local authorities have implemented measures to ensure residents' safety and minimize the impact of the attack. Fedorov emphasized that the situation is under surveillance and that emergency services are actively providing assistance to those affected.

USA‑Ukraine agreement

The United States and Ukraine have announced the signing of an agreement that establishes a joint investment fund. The aim is to share future revenues from Ukrainian mineral resources. The agreement, announced by the Trump administration, is the result of months of tough negotiations.
