The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, noted in his evening speech that Russia shows no signs of preparing to make peace. Instead, after Easter, Russian forces resumed their offensive, leading to further losses. Zelensky emphasized that Russia is trying to deceive the world, including the United States, to prolong the conflict.

Zelensky highlighted the need for international pressure on Russia to force it to take steps toward ending the war. The recent meeting between the Ukrainian president and Donald Trump during funeral ceremonies in the Vatican confirms that Ukraine's partners understand the situation and are ready to continue their support.

"The Russians talk a lot about their alleged readiness to accept American proposals, but so far no preparations by the Russian army for real silence have been recorded. On the contrary, since Easter the occupier has resumed their usual assault activity - of course, at the cost of significant losses, the Russians are trying to advance," said the President of Ukraine in his evening speech on Sunday.
