On Saturday evening, a violent incident occurred in Birmingham's city centre, where a man was knocked out with one punch. The event happened near the well-known Bullring shopping centre.

The victim, who was holding a Ukrainian flag, collapsed to the ground from a single blow, reports "The Mirror."

Witnesses report that the man regained consciousness after a while and received support from bystanders. He was taken to hospital, but his injuries are not considered life-threatening. West Midlands Police have confirmed they are investigating the attack, which was captured by shocked passers-by.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police stated that an investigation is underway following an incident in which a man was attacked on New Street in Birmingham at approximately 19:20 GMT on Saturday, 17 May. The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. The investigation is ongoing, with authorities reviewing recordings of the incident.

Causes of conflict in England

One of the witnesses, who wished to remain anonymous, said the argument erupted after both men began provoking each other on the street. The victim was holding a Ukrainian flag.

Eventually, people came to assist the man who had been knocked out, and then the sirens were heard. The man with the flag provoked the other individual for a considerable time, and eventually, he was struck - the witness recounted.
