Russians fighting in infantry units have often demonstrated that they do not have access to the most modern equipment in the world. This time, a video appeared online showing soldiers of Putin's army (referred to as the "second army of the world") presenting a combat vehicle they were issued.

The 137th Airborne Regiment of the Russian army received a motorcycle from the years 1965–1970. It's a Ural brand motorcycle, model 1965. The Soviet vehicle looks as if it belongs in a museum or at vintage motor enthusiast rallies. However, according to Russian commanders, it is intended for use at the front.

In the online video, you can see the Russians attempting to start the vehicle. Starting the old motorcycle requires the involvement of several people and a great deal of patience. The motorcycle likely hadn’t been started for many years, and the Russians had difficulty getting it operational.

According to Anton Herashchenko, a Ukrainian war blogger and former Deputy Minister of the Interior of Ukraine, providing such old and not very practical equipment at the front suggests that Russia is running out of modern technological solutions in the military.

Due tdue to lack of modern equipment, Russians will be increasing the number the number of "meat assaults." They will be forced to go on combat missions with very low chances of survival. Putin doesn't care at all about that, stated Herashchenko in a post, in which he showed the video featuring the motorcycle.
