Shooting near Kyiv leaves multiple dead, police on manhunt

The Ukrainian police have reported a shooting near Kyiv, resulting in several fatalities.

According to the police, an unidentified man opened fire in the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka in the Kyiv region. "The Kyiv regional police are investigating the circumstances of the shooting in the Bucha district, which has led to multiple deaths," stated the release.

The incident was reported to the authorities on Thursday at 3:22 PM local time. "At present, all emergency services are attending the scene. A special operation is in progress to apprehend the suspect," the police confirmed.
