  • Cuba, currently experiencing a prolonged economic crisis, reported significant disruptions to telephone communication in Havana due to cable theft. The state-owned enterprise, Telecomunicaciones de Cuba, reported the theft of 656 yards of telephone cable. Local media highlight that such failures have been increasingly frequent over the past two years. Since the beginning of this year alone, there have already been seven instances of cable theft in various districts of the Cuban capital.
  • Donald Trump accused Zelensky of wanting to withdraw from an agreement between their countries. He also warned that this could lead to trouble. "He's trying to back out of the rare earth deal and if he does that he's got some problems, big, big problems," Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One. "He wants to be a member of NATO, but he's never going to be a member of NATO. He understands that," added Trump.
  • On Sunday evening, the US Army’s Europe and Africa Command reported that divers had successfully reached the Hercules and attached a rope. This will facilitate the vehicle extraction operation. Since Wednesday, 26 March, a search operation has been underway at the Pabradė training ground in Lithuania for four American soldiers. The soldiers were travelling in an M88 Hercules armoured vehicle, which became submerged in a swamp.
