Ukraine and USA to discuss ceasefire in Saudi Arabia talks

On Thursday, during a joint press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that on next Monday delegations from Kyiv and Washington will meet in Saudi Arabia to formulate a strategy that could lead to the cessation of hostilities.
Importantly, the Monday talks between Ukraine and the USA will occur independently of the US-Russia talks, also planned for Monday in Saudi Arabia.
Besides providing key information about the forthcoming meeting, Zelensky reiterated his call to maintain sanctions on Russia until the hostile forces begin withdrawing from Ukrainian territory.
