William changes divorce lawyers: New legal royal alliance or upcoming split?

According to the "Daily Mail," Prince William has decided to change lawyers. He is now working with a law firm representing Princess Diana in her divorce from Charles III in 1996. This has fuelled rumours that the heir to the throne may be experiencing a marital crisis with Kate Middleton.

Prince William has switched to the law firm Mishcon de Reya, whose lawyers were involved in his mother's divorce settlements. The reasons for this sudden decision are unknown, but there is initial speculation.

The British "Daily Mail" reports that this move is intended to allow the aristocrat greater freedom of action and to break free from dependency on King Charles III. However, it was emphasised that these are merely unofficial considerations.

He did not want to continue using his father's lawyers. It's as simple as that. He wants to be his own man—convinces an expert.

Until now, the royal family has used the services of the law firm Harbottle & Lewis. The 42-year-old has deviated from this tradition, which observers see as the beginning of building a stronger position within the family, although bolder rumours have also emerged.

Internet users consider that Prince William and Kate Middleton may have marital issues, and even a separation might be possible. This would explain why the future king selected this firm, which has specialised in divorces for three decades.

Representatives of the couple strongly deny this. Meanwhile, supporters of the couple highlight that they attend public events together, share a deep affection, and have no intention of causing unpleasant experiences for their children. There is therefore little to suggest that the speculation about a crisis is accurate.

Princess Diana was satisfied with the divorce lawyers

Princess Diana and Prince Charles divorced in July 1996. It was preceded by lengthy mediation, and lawyers on each side wanted to claim the final success. When the negotiations finally concluded, the People's Princess expressed her satisfaction.

Immediately after announcing the divorce, she went to the theatre to watch Swan Lake. She smiled for photographers and, after the performance, had dinner with the venue's artistic director, Derek Deane.

She looked as if a huge weight had been lifted off her shoulders and she was reborn, free from pain and sadness. It was clearly visible that all this had strengthened her. She had a future ahead of her, or at least so she thought—recalled in "The Sun."
