Houthis launch rockets towards Israel
On Sunday afternoon, an air raid alert was announced throughout most of Israel. The army initially reported two, then one rocket launched from Yemen towards Israel, adding that there is a high likelihood they were intercepted.

What are the USA's future plans?
In mid-March, the USA started a new offensive against the Iran-backed Houthis. The rebels occupy a large part of Yemen, including Sana'a. Following the outbreak of war in the Gaza Strip, they conducted over 100 attacks on ships in the Red Sea and the Gulf of Aden, stating they were aiding Hamas in this way.
The USA and other countries had previously responded to Houthi attacks, but these were typically limited retaliatory strikes. The new campaign is broader in scope.
At the beginning of April, the Pentagon reported that the USA had carried out over 200 airstrikes on the Houthis. Government officials also stated that many leaders of the movement were killed in these attacks. The Houthis reported that in response, they are attacking, among others, American naval vessels in the region, including the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman stationed in the Red Sea. The USA has not confirmed these reports.
