The United States has announced delivering another military aid package for Ukraine. As highlighted by the Military Portal, information appeared on the Pentagon's website about strengthening the defenders' army with some of the most valuable machines on the front line—Bradley fighting vehicles, whose capabilities we remind you of.

The M2 Bradley armoured vehicles are undoubtedly structures that scare the Russians – and as such, are among the most desired by Ukrainians. American Bradleys have made their mark in the history of the conflict in Ukraine as equipment that has been praised multiple times for its offensive and defensive capabilities.

Suffice it to say that the armoured beasts from the USA have proven their effectiveness, among others, during a duel with the T-90M Proryv tank belonging to the Russian armed forces. The machine conducted such heavy fire that the vehicle, considered one of the best in the aggressor's army, succumbed to the power of the American construct.

At other times, the M2 Bradley survived shelling from the BM-21 Grad launcher and also emerged unscathed after an encounter on the front line with the T-72 tank. The American vehicle also did not give up when it ran over a mine and ensured the safety of Ukrainians in one of the heroic rescue missions when it saved allies from enemy fire.

Knowing Bradley's capabilities and considering how valuable it is as support for Ukrainians, the USA has decided to send additional units of this type to the front. Americans are not specifying how many vehicles will be delivered to the defenders' army as part of the latest support. However, the equipment list – apart from Bradleys – also includes RIM-7 and Stinger missiles, ammunition for HIMARS, 150mm and 100mm artillery shells, M113 vehicles, MRAPs, and small patrol boats.

The M2 Bradley is equipped with a M242 Bushmaster 25mm auto-cannon with a firing rate of up to 200 rounds per minute. It is additionally equipped with a 7.62mm machine gun. This weapon combination makes it extremely effective in various combat conditions, as confirmed by direct confrontations with Russian tanks on the front line.

Ukrainians have Bradleys in the ODS variants, which were introduced into service in the American army in the 1990s. They are equipped with better thermal imaging sights and some additionally have BRAT reactive armour, which increases protection against RPG-7 grenades.
