Former US President Bill Clinton has been admitted to hospital in Washington, reports Politico. He is undergoing tests and being kept under observation due to a high fever.
Clinton was admitted on Monday to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington to conduct tests and be kept under observation following the onset of a fever, according to political adviser Angel Ureña.
In a post on the platform X, Ureña added that the 78-year-old Clinton "remains in good spirits and greatly appreciates the excellent care he is receiving."

A source close to the former US president, cited by NBC News, reports that the situation is not serious, and Clinton is "conscious and alert."
Politico recalls that Clinton has suffered from numerous health issues in the past, including several surgeries, and was most recently admitted to hospital in 2021 due to an infection.
