The largest real estate developer in Europe has become the official partner of a leading German club, Borussia Dortmund. "Borussia Dortmund, with its rich history, pursues an international vision while maintaining local roots, much like us," said Robert Dobrzycki, CEO and co-owner of Panattoni Europe and India.

The company states that the official start date for the partnership between BVB and Panattoni is no coincidence—it aligns with the beginning of the new Bundesliga season and the first league match of Lukasz Piszczek's role as Dortmund's assistant coach.

Panattoni focuses on collaboration with the sports club

"Since its inception, the Lukasz Piszczek BVB Academy in Poland has gained a reputation as one of the leading football schools in the region. It offers talented youth education and the opportunity to develop their football skills in professional conditions, which also brings sporting benefits to Borussia Dortmund," the company announces.

Additionally, the academy has modern training facilities thanks to the support.

"We are proud to announce our partnership with Borussia Dortmund. It allows us to expand our presence beyond the world of industrial and logistics real estate, while also making a significant contribution to promoting sports. With its rich history, Borussia Dortmund pursues an international vision while maintaining local roots, much like us," said Robert Dobrzycki, CEO and co-owner of Panattoni Europe and India.

"We are pleased to welcome Panattoni to BVB's business network. Their support for the club and the Lukasz Piszczek BVB Academy demonstrates a true passion for football and a commitment to promoting young talent," said Carsten Cramer, Managing Director at Borussia Dortmund.

Borussia Dortmund is one of the oldest and most popular football clubs in Germany. Founded in 1909, BVB has over 10 million fans in Germany alone.

What does Panattoni gain from this partnership?

Dobrzycki's company, Panattoni, is the largest industrial developer in Europe. It is currently entering Asian markets.

"The development volume that I manage in Europe amounts to 5 billion euros," said Robert Dobrzycki in March on Business Class.

The company builds warehouse spaces for partners like Amazon or rents to local clients. In early March, Dobrzycki, together with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, commenced construction in Swindon on one of the largest brownfield sites in the United Kingdom. The venture is set to bring in investments worth €1.06 billion over the next decade.
