Rachel Smith, known on social media as @rachelsmithsx, is a British traveller. She has amassed over 27,000 followers on TikTok. Recently, she decided to visit a unique place in Thailand. In Chiang Mai, she went to a women's prison where the inmates run a restaurant and offer massages for tourists.

Visited a prison in Thailand

"Don't miss this when you visit Thailand," she wrote in the description of the video. – It's not an ordinary prison because you can actually go to their restaurant and get a massage by one of the inmates – the influencer said. This is an important initiative because the women can gain professional qualifications to help them after their release.

According to the traveller, the services they provide are of high quality. – It's the best massage I've had in Thailand. That's an understatement, it was literally insane - it worked out between £5 (€6) and £6 (€7) for the hour, which is crazy and they were just so lovely and smiley – Rachel said in the material shared on TikTok.

Internet users reacted

Most people positively reviewed Rachel's experience. "An amazing thing and a wonderful experience," "I was there and really liked it" – wrote internet users.

However, not everyone shares the same enthusiasm. "I can't imagine having a massage from someone who committed a really horrible crime? I know everyone deserves a second chance, but some people are really bad," commented one TikTok user.
