Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez and Valentina Cervantes part ways
Enzo Fernandez, the star of Chelsea London, has ended his relationship with Valentina Cervantes, his long-term partner and the mother of his two children. The influencer confirmed this information on her Instagram, emphasising that they will remain a family for the sake of their children. The reason for their breakup was described as absurd.
Valentina Cervantes, who has 1.4 million followers on Instagram, wrote: "With Enzo today we say distance from each other. But we will always be family and support each other through everything. Because there are two kids in the middle that need a lot of our love for them. I know the person and excellent father Enzo is, and the heart he has. And that's enough for me. They don't want to create wars where there aren't any."
According to the Argentine journalist Julieta Argenta, Enzo Fernandez confessed that he wants to "live alone". In her social media post, Argenta added: "He told her he wants to live life on his own. They’re still family, but he feels the need to experience the stage he skipped by choosing family early on".

The couple met in Argentina and have two children, born in March 2020 and October 2023. Cervantes accompanied Fernandez during his transfers from River Plate to Benfica, and then to Chelsea, to which he moved in January 2023 for a record sum of €127 million.

Although in the early weeks of the season he served as Chelsea's captain, in the League Cup match against Newcastle on Wednesday, the team did not always perform up to expectations. They lost the mentioned match 0-2. A few days ago, the footballer celebrated his youngest son Benjamin's birthday, sharing a picture on Instagram.
The rise of Enzo Fernandez's career came during the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. It was there that he had the opportunity to present himself for the first time in his career before the largest audience in the football world and performed excellently. Thanks to this, he earned a transfer to the London club.
