"China's position on the Ukraine issue is consistent and clear. The Chinese side calls on all parties to observe the three principles for de-escalating the situation," stated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the Ukrainian offensive in the Kursk region.

Beijing mentions the "three principles for de-escalating the situation". This means "namely no expansion of the battlefield, no escalation of fighting and no fueling the flame by any party," reads the statement from Chinese diplomacy.

"We will continue to maintain communication with the international community to play a constructive role for the political settlement of the crisis," notes the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing.

The American Institute adds, "Russian sources largely claimed that Russian forces have stabilised the situation.." However, photos and videos published online indicate that the Ukrainian offensive is not losing momentum.
