  • polenta (cornmeal or flour – 200g),
  • water or stock (600ml),
  • butter (1 tablespoon),
  • Parmesan cheese (30g, optional),
  • salt,
  • pepper,

  • favourite spices (e.g., smoked paprika, granulated garlic, Herbes de Provence).

Preparation:

            
  1. Cook the polenta in water or stock according to the package instructions, stirring frequently, until it thickens.
  2. Add butter, Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread the mixture onto a baking tray lined with baking parchment, smooth it evenly, and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
  4. Cut the cooled polenta into chip-like strips, place them on a baking tray, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with your favourite spices.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20-25 minutes, turning the chips halfway through, until they are golden and crispy.
