The unusual discovery took place on Sunday in the small mountain town of McBride in Canada. One of the residents, Andrea Arnold, was driving on a snowy city road when she suddenly saw a small deer walking. Its appearance immediately caught attention due to a peculiar detail.

The vest fitted the deer as if it were tailor-made

The animal was wearing a reflective vest, which was zipped up. As explained in an interview with the local newspaper, the deer was casually dressed in an outfit that fit it perfectly.

The witness noted that even the legs fit into the armholes, and the zip was tightly fastened. Before the deer disappeared among the trees, the witness captured the unusual sight in a photo, which they shared on social media.

The post immediately garnered comments. Some suggested that a reflective vest could ensure the deer's safety on the motorway, while others feared the animal could injure itself by snagging on a tree.

The police are searching for the person responsible for the situation

Internet users ask, "How did this happen, and who is responsible?" So far, there has been no answer. The police are investigating the matter. According to initial leads, one of the town's residents might be involved.

Authorities warned against repeating this behaviour, as approaching wild animals can be dangerous. Additionally, it is also stressed they should not be needlessly exposed to. So far, despite its conspicuous appearance, the animal has not been found.
