The attack resulted in several windows being shattered on the premises.

Earlier, the governor of the Leningrad region, Aleksandr Drozdenko, admitted to shooting down four drones and stated that there were no casualties or major damage.

St. Petersburg airport halted operations

For safety reasons, on Saturday morning, Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg suspended operations for over two hours. "The airport temporarily does not accept or send flights," a representative informed.

"The flight crews, air traffic controllers, and airport services are taking all necessary actions to ensure flight safety – this is the main priority," he added.
