Why is it worth eating salmon?
Salmon is one of the healthiest ingredients to incorporate into our daily diet, including as a salad. This oily fish from cold waters is not only delicate and aromatic but also exceptionally nutritious. Firstly, it provides large amounts of omega-3 fatty acids, which have anti-inflammatory properties, support heart and brain function, and benefit the appearance of skin and hair. It is also a source of vitamin D, particularly valuable in the autumn and winter months, and for those who spend little time in the sun.
Salmon also contains high-quality protein, vitamin B12, selenium, and iodine—elements essential for the proper functioning of the thyroid and nervous systems. Smoked salmon pairs excellently with vegetables, eggs, and light yoghurt-mayo sauces, making the salad not only filling but also beneficial for maintaining a healthy body. By opting for the version with added salmon, you gain a wholesome dish that is light and suitable even for a formal setting.
