After several minutes of delay, the conversation between Elon Musk and Donald Trump on platform X commenced. The Republican candidate addressed, among other topics, his relationship with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin.

The discussion on platform X started with a mention of the unsuccessful assassination attempt on Donald Trump's life. The US presidential candidate described it as a surreal experience. "I didn’t know I had that much blood. The doctors later told me that the ear is a place, that is a very bloody place, if you’re going to get hit. But in this case, it was probably the best alternative you could even think about, because it went at the right angle," said the former president, who is running for re-election.

Trump extended his condolences to the family of the firefighter who died during the assassin's attack. At the same time, he admitted that "it was a miracle" that only one person died and that the panicked crowd trampled no one.

Trump on the war in Ukraine: pointed to the guilty party

One of the topics of the conversation was the issue of the war in Ukraine. Trump blamed the current US President, Joe Biden, for it. "I got along with Putin very well, and he respected me," assured Trump, recalling his frequent conversations with the leader in the Kremlin. He also hoped that he would "get along well" with him again.

The former president also asserted that he discouraged the Russian dictator from invading Ukraine. "We would talk a lot about Ukraine. It was the apple of his eye. But I said 'Don't ever do it.' I said to Vladimir Putin, ‘Don’t do it. You can’t do it, Vladimir. You do it, it’s gonna be a bad day. You cannot do it.’ And I told him things that what I do, and he said, ‘No way,’ relayed Trump. He blamed the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine on his successor, Joe Biden.

The former president said that the attacks on Israel should have never happened, just like the war in Ukraine.

Bitter words about Biden: "The worst president"

Donald Trump did not mince words when speaking about the incumbent president. "The Iran-Israel crisis, Afghanistan issue could have been avoided, but… Biden was the worst. Gasoline prices have gone through the roof during Joe Biden's rule. The cost of gasoline, and keeping the house warm, has to come down," he stated critically, adding that Biden was the "worst US president ever".

"This president [has] a low IQ, very low IQ. He had a low IQ 30 years ago, by the way. But now he might not even have an IQ at all. There's nothing on the board that goes this low. You know, Biden did something with Russia. There was no chance of him ever going in. And when I left, and then after I left, they started forming big armies on their on the border with Ukraine, right? And I looked at that, and I thought he was doing that because Putin's a good negotiator. I thought he was doing that to negotiate," stated Trump.

Elon Musk's appeal

Elon Musk concluded the conversation with an appeal. He described himself as a centrist, possibly with a slight leftward tilt, mentioning his support for Obama and his commitment to renewable energy and electric vehicles. Musk also found it absurd to be labeled a right-wing radical. He expressed his desire to motivate others who, like him, are centrists with a slight leftward tilt to cast their vote for Donald Trump.

US elections: A clear signal for Trump

Since Kamala Harris replaced Joe Biden in the presidential election race for the White House, Donald Trump has seen significant drops in poll support.

But that's not all. Over the weekend, the "Financial Times" published the latest study, which must be an alarm signal for Trump, as it concerns the issue of economic trust from citizens - his previous domain. The Democrats, thanks to Harris, took the lead for the first time in a year since the beginning of conducting polls.
