  • Elon Musk's SpaceX launched the largest and most advanced Polish satellite, EagleEye, into orbit on Friday, according to Creotech Instruments, Poland's largest manufacturer of satellites, satellite systems, and components.
  • A fire that broke out on Friday evening near Humberto Delgado Airport in Lisbon destroyed a multi-level car park and warehouse. More than 200 cars were burned.
  • The Democratic candidate for President of the USA presented her economic plan on Friday during a rally in Raleigh, North Carolina. Among her proposed measures are a ban on food price gouging and a 5,770 euro tax credit for parents of newborns.

  • The United States is experiencing a significant surge in cases of Covid-19. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), it is the highest since July 2022.
