Exclusive documents reveal Melania Trump's remarkable earnings

Journalists from the American newspaper Newsweek have obtained documents allegedly revealing the earnings of Donald Trump and his wife, Melania. It has been known for years that the former President of the USA is wealthy. But how does his beloved earn her keep? She, too, has a knack for business.

The presidential campaign is currently ongoing in the USA. This autumn, Americans will decide who will be the head of state for the next four years. For a long time, Donald Trump was the favourite in the polls. However, after Joe Biden withdrew from the race for the presidential seat and Kamala Harris took his place, public sentiment, if we are to believe the numerous polls conducted, has significantly shifted.

If, however, Donald Trump becomes president, Melania Trump will become the First Lady of the USA for the second time. The politician's wife enjoys a similar mixed press as her beloved. So, what do her earnings look like?

The latest report on Donald Trump's wealth sheds new light on his wife's earnings. Documents filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) show that Melania Trump earned over €215,000 for a single appearance in April this year. The speech took place during an event organised by the Log Cabin Republicans, a group of conservative members of the LGBT community and their allies in Palm Beach, Florida.

This report also includes other sources of information about Melania Trump's income. In July 2024, the politician's wife attended a second fundraising event for the Log Cabin Republicans at Trump Tower. According to Richard Grenell, former acting director of national intelligence in the Trump administration, this event raised €1.3 million. However, the financial documents do not mention any earnings for Melania Trump from this particular event.

The documents released by the "Newsweek" editorial team also reveal the creation of a company named MKT World LLC, which is set to handle Melania's speaking engagements and the sale of her NFTs.

Melania Trump also owns several properties, including apartments in New York, which are valued between €470,000 and €940,000. Additionally, she receives rent from a residential property in her hometown of Ljubljana amounting to between €13,500 and €35,000 annually.

The documents also indicate that Melania Trump earns €300,000 based on a licensing agreement with the NFT project manager for sales. The former first lady launched her collection of digital tokens after leaving the White House, including likenesses of her face and a collection commemorating the Apollo 11 moon landing.
