Members of the Anglo-Saxon intelligence alliance Five Eyes and services from Israel and Saudi Arabia are considering limiting information exchange with the US. According to NBC News, this decision is a response to the conciliatory approach of President Donald Trump's administration towards Russia.

The Five Eyes alliance includes the US, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

According to NBC, US allies fear that the identity of foreign agents may be accidentally disclosed to Russia.

The station's interlocutors indicate that Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Five Eyes members are analysing the possibility of changing protocols regarding intelligence sharing. These discussions are already underway, said a source with direct knowledge of the talks.

White House National Security Council spokesperson Brian Hughes stated that President Trump "realistically views" America's adversaries.

The United States has unparalleled intelligence capabilities, which is precisely why initiatives such as the Five Eyes alliance exist, he noted.

The US no longer provides intelligence data to Ukraine

A spokesperson for the British government denied that the United Kingdom is planning to limit intelligence cooperation with the US. The United States is our closest ally, and we will continue to work closely on defence, intelligence, and security issues, he stated.

The Canadian intelligence agency took a similar position, emphasising "strong and resilient" relations with American agencies.

In the context of its cooperation with Ukraine, the US has halted the sharing of intelligence data, including a key link for alerts about Russian missile strikes. This cooperation, which has been developed since 2014, has benefited both parties by providing valuable insights into Russia.

US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz noted that Donald Trump would consider restoring military support to Ukraine if peace talks occur.
