German North Rhine-Westphalia to pay young residents for sports participation

North Rhine-Westphalia to distribute money to young athletes
Residents of this federal state must actively participate in the region's sports life. What does this mean? To receive the additional funds, they should join one of the sports clubs and actively participate in training and activities. The only thing they need to do is submit the appropriate application.
The portal karlsruhe-insider.de emphasises that in this way, the federal state wants to encourage youth to engage in sports. The programme is set to launch in 2025.
